EOY Revision Package ANSWER

There are 2 types of micrometer readings. You need to know both types of micrometer reading.

There is a printing error on the Y axis. Kindly take note of the mistake on the Y axis.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE for part (c) YOU MUST WRITE
deceleration = negative acceleration = - (-25) = 25m/s2 and write the final answer in positive. DO NOT leave your answer in negative.

DO NOT just work on the questions. PLEASE READ and understand the notes. Kindly complete all the other practice papers and check your answer with the answer sheet provided.

Kindly take note, for the above question, acceleration is zero when the object is at constant speed (speed no change).

Please take note, for Sum of Moments, you must take individual moments (Force x perpendiular distance from pivot to force) and add them together. DO NOT add all the forces at one side and multiple the total distances.

You must use the appropriate terms to answer this question. Line of action refers to the weight of the object acting downwards. The base area refer to the bottom portion of the glass.  If you draw a vertical (line of action) downwards from point A and B, you will release the line of action falls BEYOND the base area, thus it will be unstable.

Only for conduction you can say "it is a good conductor", for Radiation you should say 'it is a good absorber (take in heat) or good emitter (give out heat)."

Always remember, dull and black surface is a good absorber of heat is always a good emitter of heat. You feel cold is when your body is giving out heat quickly. You feel hot is when your body is absorbing (taking in ) heat quickly.

Please take note. Due to printing error, the X axis has no labels. Kindly include the X-axis labels and answer the question.
You need to have the key words "take in energy " "to break / make intermolecular bonds" in order to obtain the marks.

Kindly take note on how marks are allocated for the 3 marks question. Make sure all the key words and points are written in order to obtain the full marks.

Kindly complete all the practice papers and check your answers with the answer sheet provided. The only way to study for Physics is PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE.

Redo all the worksheets, cover the answer and do your workings on a separate piece of paper and check the answers for understanding.

All the best to you .
